Discovering Your Why: Defining What Gets you up in the Morning!

I’ve loved today’s Blog Challenge as it really got me thinking about why I do get up in the morning. It made me think about how much I love helping my clients and it’s a great exercise for anyone to do. I’d encourage anyone reading this to have a go at discovering your why.

If I follow Simon Sinek’s formula in Start with Why, it would read something like this:

“To simplify how to use digital marketing so that small and medium size businesses can use online products and services effectively to grow”.

However, this still sounds a bit Corporate and doesn’t really explain the way that helping my clients makes me feel.

I really enjoy solving their problems and helping their businesses grow. I love breaking down for them, in simple terms, how to use all the options available to them. Actually, one of the key pieces of advice I give is not to use all options! Be selective, focus on your client and don’t try to do it all as this is the road to overwhelm.

What I really get a huge buzz out of though is the way my clients feel after a session with me. I think the best way to illustrate this is the video testimonial below from Annya Stoddart of Wisdom-Mind:

Helping people like Annya is my why …. making a difference …. and I love it!
